This activity involves a group of U3A members using the swimming pool for exercise.
There are no swimming lessons given. There may be an aerobic class on a Wednesday if the Council instructor is available.
Flotation devices are available for non-swimmers.
Pensioners can avail of a £3 p.a. admission fee payable to Newry and Mourne District Council.
Disabled people or older people in need of exercise can get free admission if they are referred by their doctor.
Referrals are dealt with by Ciara Lowe, disabled officer for N&MDC. Ciara can be contacted at either the swimming pool or Newry Sports centre.
