On Monday 20th June 2011 we held a planning day to decide our future strategies for Newry U3A. This meeting was open to all tutors and members who are active within the organisation and interested in its future growth.
The meeting started with a discussing about a ‘Mission Statement’ and what it should contain. Then a brainstorming session took place in which our objectives were discussed. Finally, decisions were made on the steps needed to prioritise those objectives. The end result of all this discussion will be a document, a Strategic Plan, that will cover the next 3 years 2011 – 2014.
When the Plan is ready it will be made available to all members.
