In October 2012, television in Northern Ireland will change from analogue to digital. The Radio For Seniors group spoke to 2 representatives of Digital UK to find out what is involved in this switchover.

We are all getting older – so how do we avoid or at least delay the onset of the problems of old age – the heart attacks, strokes, dementia, loneliness and isolation. All the research suggests that there is a lot we can do to make our later years healthy and enjoyable - meet new people, learn a new language, eat well, travel, embrace modern technology (the computer, the internet, the mobile phone), sing, dance, play a musical instrument, be physically active, seek out new challenges, look forward with anticipation to the coming years.

In other words join U3A, we do all those things!
