On Thursday 3rd November 2011 the BBC Communities Team hosted a film making workshop in the Arts Centre in Newry. This was organised for the benefit of Newry U3A.
The programme for the day covered video equipment, camera functions, terminology, types of shot, storyboarding and concluded with 2 hands-on film making exercises – one for the girls and one for the boys.
There was also a short talk on the ‘Britain in a Day’ project which encourages everyone to video a short personal piece on the 12th November. Details of this project can be found on http://www.youtube.com/britaininaday
